Answer the first two questions to see which buyers fit.

Based on each buyer's published criteria, checked 19 October 2026. Buyers decide case by case, and criteria change.

How it works

We track the criteria that each buyer publishes: the status of the companies it takes, its minimum headcount, how many years of records it wants, and what it says about the UK. The finder compares your answers with those criteria and sorts the buyers into three groups. It uses the same data as our buyer directory.

Published criteria are only a start

A buyer that fits on paper can still pass, and one that does not can make an exception for unusual or specialist records. Buyers also price the same records very differently, so the best way to find the real value is to put your company in front of several buyers at once. Our guide to who buys company data explains each buyer type.

Questions

Does a fit mean a buyer will make an offer?

No. It means your company meets the criteria the buyer publishes. Every buyer reviews each company before making an offer.

Why do some buyers say "worth checking"?

The buyer has not published a rule on something, such as which countries it works with, or your company is close to one of its limits.

How often is the buyer data checked?

We check every buyer's published criteria at least once a month. Each buyer's profile shows the date it was last checked.
